For those of you who have 'upgraded' to the beta version of Internet Explorer 7 (very pretty, but rather unstable), and were dismayed to find that all the web-based pages of FS2004 had ceased to work (such as the kneeboard, the help, the getting started etc) and caused crash to desktops, do not fear.

I found on a FS developer's blog that simply deleting the file 'oleacc.dll' under 'Flight Simulator 9' should solve the problem - personally I didn't delete it but renamed it to '(oleacc_backup.dll)' to just make a backup if I ever needed the file again.

So far it has worked a treat and FS to longer crashes when I try and load a navlog or another web-based page.

As a side note, on Murray's recomendation, I now use Mozilla Firefox as my main browser, and I find it to be excellent; I solely use IE7 for things that don't work on firefox, such as propilot.
