Help!

I just downloaded a aircraft carrier from avisim, its installed the effects into the effects folder, now that i have deleted them(except effects folder), i do not know which of the files in the effects folder are originally in FS.    I have FSP and FSdamage, dont know if any of these 2's files may be in there

Now, my water effects are blocks.  it looks like small blue blocks rather than water.

if anyone could help me solve this problem, i would be thanking you for the rest of my life, if not, ive gotta re-downloaded all the addons, MTL, EHM aircraft....

By default, there are about 250 files in the Effects folder that come with FS. I guess you need to re-install it... or you might try to search the FS CDs and open the CAB files with winzip to see if you find the effects; then unzip them to your FS installation.

Have you ever tried a system restore??? Try and say something, it maybe can fix your problem...

Ive never heard of 'system restore', so i dont know what you mean

System restore brings up the last correct definitions of our system.

Click on Start button --> All programs --> Accessories --> System Tools --> System Restore.

Click on SYSTEM RESTORE and choose a date before you have deleted those files. Your system will restart again, maybe with those files on correct folder.

In this case you have to re-install your effects. Do as Gergely said. Try to find Effects on FS cd's.

ok, but i dont know the steps to do that and as i said above, i dont know if there are any things in there which are from FSPassengers and FSDamage

and i think i have bad water effects is because ive lost a file that controls the particular effect.

Now they show small blue blocks as water and whan it is scraping the ground, big blocks block my aircraft where there are supposed to be sparks. (eg.amphibian on water,  belly landing with an aircraft)

I'm not sure about this, but block of water, sound more like it's something to do with scenery or texture. But like I said I'm not 100% sure about this.

Javier, re-install everything again. It is the best way you have to back to all full functionalities. And please, for the next time don't delete any of your downloads. Save them in a cd or something like that, because now, if you need to re-install everything again you have to download all files again.

ok, ive found the problem, when deleting that other file, i accidently deleted the sparks and water effects textures without knowing what was it for.
