Right, we're nearly there now.

My third problem is this. When using any of the EH 747's there is no sound inside the cockpit and no panel or gauges what-so-ever. I have installed another panel but it hasn't fixed it. The aircraft works fine, I just don't have a clue what altitude, speed, bearing I have, which is probably a blessing as it gives me a good excuse when I crash. :s

I'm hoping this is a common problem and is easily fixed. Thanks for taking the time to read the posts and no laughing at my ineptitude!!

Hi Chris,

the panel problem maybe caused because there is not any PANEL folder contained within the download. It can be a bug, but I thought if you install a new panel, it will build up the PANEL folder. If not, first make a PANEL folder under the EHM747 installation, and install the desired panel only after that.

Maybe there is a similar bug with the sound folder. It may point to a folder that is not exist. By default, the installation points to the default 747 sound folder. If you do not have that, you will not hear any sounds.

Good luck mate !

You're a genius! Creating the panel folder worked a treat and I now have a shiny new panel. There was already a Sound folder with a Sound.cfg file in it but it didn't work so in a moment of inspiration I copied the FS747 Sound.cfg file and replaced the EH one with it and the sound works fine now. I think I'm actually getting the hang of this now. :P

Thanks for your help Robert. Much appreciated!
