This is not meant to flame any pilots, but it appears that adherance to the Timetable is not 100%, Class 2 flights flown with Class 6 aircraft on incorrect days. If we are to keep things as real as possible, I would have thought that adherance to the Timetable would be the correct thing to do.

Wasn't the days to fly optional?

I've found a class 1 flight with EuroHolidays.

I must say that the Timetable isn't brilliant, but maybe we should be glad we even have it. You go on other websites, and their timetables are a mess! Only one flight in one class sometimes!

Extracted from the EHM manual

"For most of the flights you will find a take-off time and a list of the days when the flight is operated. You
don’t have actually to fly on the specified day at the specified time in real life; only set the date and time in
FS so the experience will be more realistic. The arrival time is not given as pilots can fly a specified flight with
more planes (for example a Class 3 flight can be flown with both the fast Saab or the slower Fokker)."

This would suggest that days do not matter but aircraft cat does

ok...but there is no excuse for using a 767/A330 on a class 2 route...this is not allowed, as its unrealistic and against EHM rules.

You are allowed to fly any class 4-5-6 flight, with any 4-5-6 plane. the same with classes 1-2-3, providing you have the rank...

Sometimes though, you see flights like EGLL-EGPH which may be class 2, yet I feel that even in real life, the F70 would be able to do that flight.

Hi Matt,

I am currently working on the timetable, especially EGLL, EHAM, LSZH and ESSA Hubs. This sort of problem will be addressed when the new Timetable ADDITIONS come out. (I highlight the word additions as I am not going to be removing flights only adding flights)

I am planning on adding a few short range Jet flights and a few long range Turbo Prop flights to make the schedule a little more realistic.

Currently the Atlanta, Athens and Lisbon timetables are very extensive so I am not touching on these yet.

If you have any suggestions for destinations or routes from the Hubs that I am updating (EGLL, EHAM, LSZH & ESSA) please email me at:
philip@fly-euroharmony.com
but please limit these to no more than 5 requests and please give me a reason for adding them as there is no way I could honour every request that all pilots make.

Exactly 3 months ago I sent this message on the forum but never received an answer:
quote:
"A340 Timetable

As I am jumping from the A330 to the A340, I was checking the destinations and was sort of surprised when I looked that Calabozo (SVCL) is one of the two listed in Venezuela being Maiquetia the other one which is correct since it is our largest airport.
Calabozo's runway is 1460 mts (4800 ft) long and operates only on daylight.
I would like to ask Management to include (SVMC) Maracaibo (my home town by the way) instead since it is the second largest airport with international category in Venezuela.
Gee, I would like to go home as a PIC in the A340 one day.
Your help will be very well appreciated.
Hector Partidas
EHM1749"
end of quote.

Phil stated that he would be working the TT only from EGLL, EHAM, ESSA and LSZH. Well, the same SVCL is listed from EGLL and EHAM.
So, please, make my day and include SVMC instead.
As I live in Venezuela and know most of the airports from my flying days, I am willing to help with whatever question you may have if you feel the need.
Thanks
Hector

Good pilots keep their number of landings equal to their number of takeoffs. Takeoffs are optional but landings are Mandatory.

Since we are talking about timetables, i'd just like to ask why there are so few EHO flights out of EGLL? actually, there is only 1 class 7 flight out of EGLL. Was wondering if we could have more flights.

Regards(long time since i signed off this way;D)

Javier, the planned update to the EGLL timetable will add Holiday flights of class 3 thru to class 7. (To be honest, this was one of the main reasons for updating timetables was to add divisional flights for all divisions from all hubs)

Hector, not making any promises at this time but will look in to your request. (Also can't promise you will be flying in an A340 as I may have to assign it to a different division so it could be a 744F, MD11 or B777)

I hope some of the holiday flights will be from EGKK then we can use the superb Gatwick Pro software, we even have piers with the Euroharmony logo on them, it seemas a shame not to be able to use them.
