Hi John,

I think Flight Logger can work with FSx if the FSUIPC is for FSX, but i dont think much of the fleet is compatible for you to fly with on FSX

After an exhaustive array of tests, I have reached the conclusion that the flight logger program is the culprit for the mysterious behavior of my panel lights (on any aircraft ie EHM, Payware, Default FS(2004)). Anytime I use flightlogger, after a few minutes (about 15), my 2D panel lights shut off and the only way to get them back is to restar Flightsim. Reloading aircraft, switching aircraft or loading a new save does not work. I attempted to find the cause however, it has eluded me. Amongst the dozens and dozens of payware and freeware addons I use, I was unable to identify a conflict with flight logger and another component that may result in this phenomenon. Perhaps the programmers can shed some light as to how this may even be possible to help me track down the offending software installed on my system that may cause this behavior.

When I am not using flight logger, this panel light problem does not occur. I have spent hours diagnosing this problem with flight logger as my only lead. Any comments? Suggestions?

Thank you.

Yep
I had the same problem no Panel lights.By the way if you look at the blurb for flogger/pro pilot it mentions random failures as part of what it does, but the powers that be here insist that although it says that it doesn't actually do it.BUT! i think it does do something to panel lights, others have noticed as well.
Anyway cheers Andy

Hi,

Armando Chibante (the FL developper) will take a look at it ... But, I am almost quite sure that the FLogger doesn't change anything on the Flight Simulator, but only reads from it ...

Hello All,

well, maybe this isn't the ideal place to put this but as it has to do with the new FLLogger I thought I place it here.

I was installing everything on my laptop from scratch (the F1 event will require me to fly from it as well).
In order to save time I installed the FLLogger while I was installing FS9. This had the effect that the FLLogger couldn't find FS9's path and couldn't connect to it.

None of the options allow to specify this path and although I did try to un-install and re-install it several times (after FS9 was up and running) but without success. It still can't see the FS9 path and can't connect to it.

Any help? I will really need this for the PP event.

Try using some uninstaller software. They remove registry entries not removed by normal uninstall.

Try this: http://www.freedownloadscenter.com/Utilities/Misc__Utilities/MG_UnInstaller_Premium_Edition_2007.html

Hello Ricardo,

many thanks for the tip.
Actually it was my fault all along. FLLogger wouldn't work without the FSUIPC.
But the uninstaller also helped to get it going once I installed the FSUIPC.

Thanks a bunch

I also tried uninstalling everything (including fs2004) and cleaning the registry (used a registry cleaner).
