Ugly on the outside maybe, though I don't think they worried about much else except how noisy it was (which is fair enough considering that that was concordes downfall) but that cockpit is impressive!  I am curious how what seems to be a picture of the ground (left screen) helps you fly when you are up in the clouds!

Its looks like a video feed with integrated HUD.
