EGBV, silverstone.... It doesn't turn up on my airport list when making the flightplan in the flight planner...

Any idea why ..??

Qoute from the tour description page:

To download third party scenery for this tour, click here. Note that Silverstone (EGBV) is not included by default in FS2002/2004 so you must download it from using this page! (free registration now required for AvSim as I can see)...
Good luck ;)

Apparently they were not backed-up by anyone before the crash and nobody ever got around to make them again.
We could remake them using the symbols in the Badge Generator, wich are just a little smaller.

I had problems with the silverstone scenery. There were strips of solid colour instead of textured objects everywhere. Anyone know why?

They probably used paint. Or no one has had a great go at it to make it really good.:s

I have similar problems with several sceneries, e.g. Zurich. I guess it's because they were originally made for FS2002, and if you use them for FS2004, it won't find some of the textures needed.

Silverstone originally was a fighter airport during WWII. Then some runways were transformed into racetrack...the rest is already F1 history. ;D
