PIREP- class/aircraft combination

Hi,

I guess I have still some misunderstanding which aircraft I may fly in which class cause some Pireps are still pending for being checked.

At the Moment I am STC (Class3).

1. Question:

Of Cause I may fly class 3 aircraft on class 3 flights, 2 on 2 and 1 on 1.

May I also fly class 2 flights with e.g. a class 1 plane?

I did a class 2 flight on the Beech1900 and Flight Logger protested and the PIREP is still pending.

I the OPS Manual is written "...you can fly class 2 flights with class 1 planes.

2. Question

Under what circumstances may I fly a EuroBusiness or -cargo flights (? Only on special occasions or only without pireping them?)

My Eurobusiness Flights are not in the Flightlogger Timetable and were not checked as well.

Hi Miko,

1. It is true that you can fly a class 1 plane on a class 2 flight. don't worry about that pending PIREP, im sure your hub captian will validate it soon. Just ignore FlightLogger if it says that the plane does not match the flight (unless flying a prop on a jet route vice versa)

2. You may fly a EuroHarmony Divisions flight when you are STC which you are now. You can fly it just like any flight except that you can only use the planes for that Division. There are no special cirrcumstances to fly a Division flight other than being STC or above.

Regarding the pending your PiReps. I'm sure it's not something you have done wrong. I think reason is that it's still vacation time for some people. So perhaps your hub captain is away.

Hi Miko,

You can do a class 1 flight in a class 3 plane and you can use flight logger. Just select the plane before selecting the flight and ignore the red light.

Can you tell which flight number it is that is still pending? Unfortunately manual PIREP validation may take up to a week depending on how much free time your Hub Manager has.
