Tim, I always wondered, do you always fly on the VC with Track IR? Doesn't that kill your frame rates? What do you think? Was it worth it?

Only got it today.

On my system it runs alright. Tried it with the LVLD767 and I get about 20FPS.

Nice. Always wanted that but I know the VC would kill my machine (OK that's just an excuse to say I have no money). Love the banking shot, the way the horizon on the real world is level with the horizon on the ADI but the panel is tilted (if you see what I mean). I guess us simmers are just too used to having the panel stay still and the  horizon move :p

EDIT: I've read if you move your head forward, the panel dips down out the way as if you are peering over the panel to get a better look. Is that true, cos that has to be one of the best features IMO.

Iain, you can move you head around to get a better look at the panel by moving into them (not alot of head movement needed), I had a little trouble keeping my head still when looking at the other head. lol
