Hi,

My FLogger isn't working right now due to an 'unregistered FSUIPC'. However, to register FSUIPC, I have to dish out 20 euros (which I really don't want to since the exchange rate is about 2 to 1!!) and I wanted to know if everyone has to pay to use Flight Logger. I have tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it again. I have done the same with Flight Logger. This has never happened to me before and I'm wondering if anyone else has encountered this problem. I can't fly PP flights because FLogger won't record the data. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions as to fixing this problem? Thanks in advance!

Ugh well - it shouldnt need it - try re-downloading the module and overwriting the last and then see if anything happens... other than that i am not sure....

No such luck, Conrad. Still says it's unregistered. Any other ideas, anyone?

Ben,

Where did you get your FSUIPC module from? You might be best to download it from Pete Dowson's page at www.schiratti.com where he always has the latest version and replace all traces of FSUIPC in your Modules folder in FS with the new version... It could be you've got a corrupted one in there...

If not I'm out of ideas...

We here at the International Institue of Technology and Computer Sceinces call that a "delete-and-re-install". It's a complicated procedure which requires many hours of work and research. And I've done it twice ;D

Have you installed any other addons since this started happening? Did you install the new Flight Logger (3.0.7) over the top of the old one (3.0.6) without uninstalling it first? If so, uninstall the flight logger completely and then try re-installing it? I believe that this is a problem with an Addon and not FSUIPC. You may have installed an unregistered addon that is trying to use FSUIPC that is what is causing the problem. Many freeware addons can register their products freely with Pete Dowson but some choose not to, I think this is what has happened. Think back carefully to when the problem started happening and look at Aircraft, Scenery or other addons such as panels or guages that you may have installed and see if uninstalling them cures the problem. I would starty by uninstalling Flight Logger completely and re-installing the new version from scratch, you may find this helps.

The problem started happening around the time I got Chris Jeanne's panel for my 757, I'm nto sure if this was before or after it started happening. I don't get all too many addons for my FS, so I'll try this one and let you know.

No, it didn't work. Still having the same problem after replacing the panel. This is worrying. I don't want to have to completely uninstall FS9 and Flight Logger, and download and re-install everything from scratch again but that might be what it comes down to!

Ben,

How did you solve it? It's good to know just in case any body else comes across this problem in future.

Thanks
