Rough approach into Samedon (alps tour)
« on: October 13, 2006, 05:22:11 pm »
There were high winds, and nasty mountains to get around, but I was flying the 4th leg of the Autumn in the Alps tour, and I had the problem of landing at Samedon. This is how my horrible approach turned into a smooth landing!:

Nasty turn to avoid the hill on the left. Vertical speed indicator *cough* failed

Here, I was just trying to straighten out the plane Vertical speed indicator *cough* still broken

Here, I was trying to line up a bit, but I was a bit too high for my liking here.

Managed to land in the center of the runway! I was quite amazed actually!

Here are just two pics of the scenery around me!

Comments Appreciated!;D
