Missing airport ?
« on: October 31, 2006, 01:03:33 am »
When I checked out the class 2 flights from Atlanta, I found a missing airport, at least I think it is.It is the airport serviced with flights 2836 and 2846 with the ICAO code KGNI. I tried to find some scenery for this airport but couldn't find anything. My first thought was maybe it's a FS2002 airport, but I don't feel like reinstalling FS2002 just because of this.
I checked to see if it was a real life airport, but all I could find was a heliport with the FAA ID: GNI located on some island of the coast of Louisianna according to Google Earth. After seeing this I certainly would like to fly to that place.
So my question is: Is this a missing airport in FS2004, and if it is, is there a scenery somewhere to download?

So i think you won't fin it.

We have a great runway of 15000X200 in any direction
Phil try to land the Do328 there;)

That was exactly what I was afraid of. But shouldn't the airport be removed from the timetables? Or maybe a strictly helicopter destination, although I have the feeling that such a flight would be a long one to fly with a maximum speed of something arround the 120 kts.

Hi guys,

Well, I am loking in to this and if indeed I find that this is the case, I will remove the flights from the timetables. Please accept our appologies, the KATL roll out was a busy time and therefore there were a few bugs with the flights.

Thanks,
