I was flying to my HUB over Europe and I was looking around and delighted in beautiful scenery. Then suddenly I CAUGHT another plane flying in my direction, but at a very low level...

It was just my shadow. Can be seen from 32000 feet, through a thick cloud Those MS guys surely know something about lights...

I always disable shadows because I mostly fly in bad wx and it's quite strange that the skies are covered, it's raining, visibility is 5000... and you still see your shadow!!!

yeah, if the airplane is in ASCENSION, FAR ABOVE THE CLOUDS over NORTH POINT and not FIVE MILES OUT... it's CRYSTAL CLEAR that there could be only a SHADOW ON THE WALL in the plane...

btw I prefer 'In the Pool' by Oldfield... :8

btw Oldfield was a pilot too, he even had his Commercial Pilot license, but he doesn't fly any more as he's usually drunk. :[

I'd like to forget that... it's Mike Oldfield's all-time worst track IMHO...

Mike wrote phenomenal albums like Ommadawn, Tubular Bells, Amarok, Crises, Incantations, Five Miles Out, Songs of Distant Earth... and still most people know him as being the author of some crappy commercial tracks like To Be Free or To France.
