125 Hours at last! KJFK-EGLL
« on: December 29, 2006, 11:59:11 am »
I finally made it to ATP! I had 5 more hours to go, so I decided to do a very long flight, instead of many short ones. I flew from KJFK to EGLL, Class 6 flight, EuroCargo! I had no traffic, because my computer crashed, and I was going out for half an hour, so I wanted to take off as quickly as possible.

At the gate, and ready for pushback!

Taxiing to the runway. When I was taking off, I had a good picture of the whole airport, but I pressed the wrong button, and the picture didn't get taken

Here, just flying over Canada:

Started to get darker as I got a quarter way over the atlantic:

Here we are flying over Dublin! Might be able to see Brian's house!;D

Finally! The coast of England! I was so happy to see this, yet, a bit disappointed that there was no fog!

I was also very pleased but scared to see Heathrow airport. This massive flight now depended on a good approach and landing!

On finals! Bit to far to the left, but I managed a smooth landing. Wasn't a fantastic hotshot landing, but not one of my famous drop landings either:

At the gate, unloading the cargo! I went on akroma since Javier was there, but we couldn't find eatchother. But, the good thing is, it was a flight well done!

Good going Matt, a big milestone for any EHM pilot. But that also means the easy part is over (if you ask me) Now you need to set your own goals.

Great screenshots ... only seriously and frankly speaking, I would have liked to have the original panel instead of using the 747's panel. Outside view shots have come the best, really look big, bulky and just superb.
