A322 V4 Throttle
« on: December 31, 2006, 11:24:18 pm »
Hello Robert:

My problem is likely simple in comparison to some of the above.
I just did a short hop with the new A320 and could not get the IAS controlled---the light came on as did all other AP items, but I could not control the speed other than manually.

Did I miss something on the Panel or??

Thanks in advance.

Dan

Did you have the 'autothrottle' armed?

Hey Dan,

What you are talking about, is it that the autothrottle don't seem to react. If so, that happens to me sometimes. so when that happens I have to switch off the IAS setting and turn it on again. Also I have found I have to turn off both the IAS setting and the autothrottle to get manual control again.  something don't happen on other panels. Well the A345 does the same so it's perhaps a Airbus/Mitchell thing. Haven't seen it happen on other of this panels
