Old pilots!!

Hi guys

I went through the latest statistics for my home base (my hub) today. And was a little surprise to learn that at ESSA hub we have a pilot who’s age is 90 +. So I went through our other hubs and found that a total of 7 pilots is 2004 years old. I don’t know about the rest of you, but I don’t think I would feel very safe flying with pilot of that age. ;D
No seriously, perhaps it something that someone from the management should take a look at. I don’t know if it’s a fault in the script or just someone that has enter a wrong birth date, even thou it sounds weird that 7 different people should have made the same mistake.

That is very wierd. Maybe the people who are 2004 yrs old typed in their date of birth except with the year 2004 instead of their actual year of birth. The system may have become confused as the date was in the future for example and put 2004yr old?

As i remember this problem has existed before the crash but was not solved........i guess manu would be looking into it soon......

At least one of the pilots above 90 is an impostor: me.
According to the database I'm in fact -2004- years old.

The problem, if there is one, could be easily fixed
with a script that allow to set a pilot's age.
Currently you set your birthday when you join the
VA and that's the last time you see it. If you make
a mistake or if the DB has any problem, you end
up with a few unwanted millenia on your back and
no chance to change this.

I'm unfortunately stuck on other things under
development and Maarten is also being very busy,
so I guess this issue will have to wait.
