Hi there, beautiful pics.
Here are some shots specially to show the advantages of two gauges I have mentioned previously that are a great help in those runways without an ILS: the Descentomer and the Satellite Assisted Landing System (SALS) both developed by Glenn Copeland and downloaded from AVSIM.
To make the landing a little more difficult the VOR at GMAT doesn't have DME.
This time will show only the pics. Next leg will prep a short tutorial along the flight.
This picture shows our descent when we are at 28 NM inb to GMAT. The Descentometer is above the SALS.

This one shows our short final at 5 NM to TD. Look at the SALS three lines aligned as well as the glide slop indicator.

Hope you like them,
Hector
P.S is there a way one can have a preview of what is posting?

Good pilots keep their number of landings equal to their number of takeoffs. Takeoffs are optional but landings are Mandatory.

Yesterday I had my first navigation problem!!!:s  I don’t use any navigation software (I only use them to check the navigations aids and prepare route), so sometimes this things happen…
I put the wrong frequency on nav1 and nav2, so I went lost on the middle of nowhere for some time:o. Solution: Go west until the sea and then south until GMAT NDB needle show me the location of the airport!:8:8

So, still on the race (unofficially) giving assistance to you!!!
Does someone need some spares?
;D;D;D;D
