Did anything come of this? I've just started flying this incredible plane, and would love a Euroharmony paint for it.

Cheers,
Gareth Evans

As I know, PMDG is not freeware, so we cannot make repaints for those models.

Understandable if there were no freeware models available but, there are current freeware models in the fleet. However, might be nice to see some screenshots of these amazing planes in the ol' blue and white.

I think the current freeware models are enough detailed and framerate friendly for the present hardware. It means, the number of polygons that a model have,  and those so much MByte textures are well fitted for our current PC-s.

I think the final quality of a virtual aircraft depends mostly on the repainter. It is useless to have the fuselage from 8 pieces of 1024x1024 pixels sized textures, if it consist of big 1 colored areas and nothing else. If a repaint contain more details then it look more real, and more beautiful. We do not have to go too far to check this point of view: you will not find any planes that is better detailed in repaints than our B747 and TU204. And if it depends on me, the list will grow time by time.

I think the commercial packages have only 1 advantage: the cockpit. A good virtual cockpit, and a nice panel (not a collection of many gauges, but really programmed together to be perfect) can raise the quality of a plane significantly. That is why I am too thinking of buying the B747 of PMDG when it comes out.

But at the moment I do not have any of the commercial planes so I could not test them in the game. That is why there are no EHM repaints for them.

Paint-kits  PMDG 737-600/700/800/900 and beechcraft 1900D download at
http://www.precisionmanuals.com/

I fly mostly the 737-800 in Athens 2004 Olympic repaint(no EHM colors).

PMDG is one of the best there is,  but expensiv,
737-600/700 $39,95,  and the update to 800/900 $ 27,95

The update is needed for FMC ect.
Only for Win-XP !!

(If fly also a 747-200 ReadyForPuschback, and this is almost as real as you get.
its a pitty its not in fleet of EHM.)

Regards, Willem.

I was thinking of mabey a 747 200 in the Euroholidays fleet, instead of a Tristar, i was not sure though because i thought that the Plane was a favourite. But i think i will put my point across now.

Any thoughts

Razza,

Perhaps you can tell management why you think the Tristar needs to be replaced with the 747-200?

I think if we want to implement a new 747, it should be the SP version. You know that is the funny looking 747-400 with a very short fuselage.

Personally I think an early 747 is a great idea, I love the shape of the original. The 747-400 has always seemed a little.....cant think of a word.....not to my liking.

Hello, I'm a new member from yesterday. Happy to enter EHM and discovering the online flying.
I'm also a PMDG addict, and a computer graphism student.
Have the PDMG repaint kits, so if one of you give me files (PSD, AI or even JPG) used to make EHM liveries as a reference I can give it a try.
See you soon in the skies :>

Once, there was a package for developers, and aircraft repainters. So, HERE IS A LINK for a similar package. It includes all raw material that is needed for a EHM repaint. ;)

AMD X4-955 3.2GHz / Gigabyte 770T / 4 GB DDR / Gigabyte GTS450 1GB DDR
Samsung 226BW@1680x1050 / WinXP.3 / FS9.1 / FSX.1 / Saitek Cyborg 3DGold

Thanks a lot, looks like some people out there really want the PMDGs in EHM livery ^^
Ok, I'll first try the PMDG B1900D, the link you gave me and the official 1900D from the fleet as a reference should do.
I'll inform you when it advances and post screens when I get results.

All right. You may know, the 737-800 is ready, you can see it in Murray's sig. I will tra to add the same design for the 737-600 model soon.
