« on: June 11, 2004, 01:23:13 am »
Well today i started flying this kind of flights! The flight was LGAV-LPPR to transport some greek fans to the inaugural game of EURO 2004! I did the flight on IVAO Network...
But i decided to do the flight with my private Fokker 100 painted with Portugal Colors to demonstrate that i´m with the selection!! :)
It was nice!! Enjoy the screenshots!

Boarding time at LGAV! Nice sun effect!

Here is my "bird"!! My private Fokker 100 called Vanilla Sky!

Airborne!!!!

Over Spain!

Arriving to Oporto... a lot of fog

Passing over "Dragão Stadium" the Stadium that will open EURO 2004

Almost landing

Engines Down and all fans off plane! :)

At this time more 3 planes were doing LGAV-LPPR wich means a good aderence from flight simmers to this EURO 2004 spirit!! :)
Safe landings,

Can I just ask...
Were did you get that IVAO co-pilot from and does anyone know a link to the squawkbox manual. The one on IVAO is a dead link.

The IVAO Copilot will replace Squawkbox in the near future. Currently it's being beta-tested and I'm one of the testers so that's why I use it.

After Croatia and Switzerland play at Leiria Stadium, it´s time to get home some swiss fans... :P
It was not a good game of football, but it was a nice flight to one of the most  challengings airports (Sion) with an aproach at 41 knots of wind :o:o
Well let´s see the pics!! ;D

Boarding time... Last call Gate A16!!

After 1 hour and 55 minutes entering Switzerland Airspace... Lot´s of Snow!! :o
It´s Summer!?!

Passing over LSGS

Great turn to intercept ILS

Well so much wind... see the trees?!?! This Airport approach is like rollercoaster!

Check the Wind value...

Almost down... (thank´s god)

Landed

Well one more flight for Euro 2004!! :)
I´m sad... not seeing many EHM Pilot´s on event!!
What´s up??
Safe landings,

Simão Oliveira

Ok here are some pics from some flights in the Iberian Tour I'm doing.

They're not part of the Euro2004 or online flights however they share a common humorous element to the Euro2004.

This one is just weird... I passed really close to the TAP plane on approach to Porto.

Ok... I know that there is a lot of competition b/w Spain and Portugal but... do we really have to ram our planes together???;D;D;D

Go Spain!!!!

;D;D;D
Let's see a good match tonight!

Well... ajem, good luck I guess.

Dont think the people here in Spain are sad, we think they deserve it for their bad play.

We were also very pre-potent w/ the match, so we kinda deserved it.

Cheers!

Alex;)
