Web site server migration
« on: March 23, 2007, 09:53:00 pm »
Dear pilots,

This weekend, starting at friday midnight, we will migrate our website to a new server with a new PHP and MySQL version.

If you see errors than you know what's going on ;D. Also, we cannot guarantee a full available website all the time on this weekend.

Thank you for your understanding.

Hi,

The migration has ended. We are now on a PHP 5 + MySQL 5 server.

Please if you see any error, send us an email to me, or Maarten or Murray.

Thanks!

We would also request you to navigate through the site to see if we have bugs on it.

Thanks!

Hi!
Since the new server is working I can't access the site with Firefox.. It goes directly to a create a fly-in page... With Internet Explorer works fine.. Should I quit trying with Mozilla Firefox, or I'm  doing something wrong?
My regards,
Miguel Fernandes

Hi Miguel,

I cannot get this error you're getting. Can you tell me exactly what you're doing to get this (Firefox version etc.)?

Thanks,

Maarten

Hi Miguel,

I had this problem too... I rectified it by changing my home page (Or your link in your favourites folder) to:

http://www.fly-euroharmony.com/site/main.php

On the old site it was main.html and that now generates teh wrong page.

Hope this helps,

Phil

ah, made the switch from HTML to PHP. did you have to write out the entire code for the website again, or was it somehow converted?

Hi,

Not sure whether it might be related to the switch, or whether it´s my configuration since I have not been updating AFAS for some time. Now, every time I try to update my AFAS profile I get the following message:

You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'return) values ('1912', 3, now(), 'DAY', '5', '1', '1|2|3|4|5', 'false')' at line 1

Thanks,

Jordi--

Jordi/Paolo, the AFAS problem should be corrected now. Can you test it and let me know one way or the other?

Philip/Murray, can you confirm that the email adress that sends out the AFAS email has changed from

euroharm@box43.bluehost.com  to  euroharm@box253.bluehost.com ??

Sorry Rico, gonna have to defer that question to Murray... beyond my area of expertise i'm afraid! :P

*EDIT* after talking to Bruno, this could be the case as we moved servers last weekend when we upgraded some of the backend features and issues.

*2nd EDIT*
Paolo, did you get an email from the AFAS yet?

Sorry Philip if I am answering so late... I haven't received any email from the AFAS system...my email address on my profile is correct, so the AFAS system is the problem...:%
Is it correct that the "About Us" page on the main site, connects to the "Company" page??
I would like to thank the MT for the hard work they do for us and EHM, thank you so much! ;)
