Ok, am opening another debate now!!!

This time for Class 3 planes, which is your favourite Class 3 airplane? May be I am being a little partial, because I myself cannot decide between Shorts and ATR, but my vote will go for the ATR as my heart beats for the ATR.

Hello
I would like to like the ATR 72-500 but even the new version still has problems with the altiude selection in the autopilot.The rest of the Panel is excellent,but because i have to fiddle and twiddle and diddle to get the correct altitude selected,i dont use it.

I went for the Shorts 'cause it's a tin can, but at the same time it's very honest and kinda cute.
The little humble workhorse.
In a very metaphorical way it is analogous to pit-ponies (I'm sure the Brits round here will know what I mean) and so as not many ppl will vote for it, I rushed to its defence.

My vote went to the Embraer. Quite a success for Brazil´s aviation industry. Every month I fly in the Embraer 190. A beauty. Hope EHM could get some of those soon.

Good pilots keep their number of landings equal to their number of takeoffs. Takeoffs are optional but landings are Mandatory.

I don't like at all the Pilatus. It was a weird experience for me, however, I did try to land it at Samedan in the night :(

My vote goes for the ATR. If any-one else has the F1 ATR, they'd know what I mean!

The EHM model is very good itself without the F1

I'm a big fan of the ATR-72 too, both the freeware and Flight1 versions :P It's a great plane to fly and looks the part!

But I like the PC-12 and the Shorts too - very interesting image of the pit pony Sotiris, I agree it's a lovely workhorse, not glamorous but very effective.

ATR 72-500 all the way! It's attractive, performs well and in the hand of a good pilot can be the smoothest ride a passenger will ever have (after the 757, of course ;)). Woohoo!

Great am really impressed with your remarks... Infact Sotiris  I agree with you that Shorts is really a lovely plane, whether loaded full or empty, it really handles well, landing and take off is a joy too.

The ATR on the other hand is longer, landings with too much flare could scrape things up, but I love its handling too. It was a tough decision for me to vote on with the ATR.

I would describe Shorts as my second love, because ATR was always in my heart :P I tried a hit on the Embraer, thats a good plane too.

Keep polling and lets hear comments too please ... thats helps us decide the numbers.

The Pilatus is just a great plane, its design is fantastic and it is so easy to manouver...my vote went on the swiss plane ;)
