Well guys, a small report from your on-site reporter.
It was a great party and despite everyone drinking non-stop since noontime, there wasn't a spot of trouble.
The game was huge let-down and if I wasn't combining the trip with some holidays I'd consider it a waste of time.
Liverpool were so unlucky with the first goal but then again, the subs didn't work either. Zenden was a complete waste of space, and Kewell was clearly unprepared. The fateful sub was mascherano out for Crouch. This released Kaka and he got the pass in for goal No.2
I flew via frankfurt on lufty and it was almost full of Brits without tickets. Funnily enough we then saw them in the stadium. Another strange thing, was all the passengers had rucksacks full of beer cans. So by the time we arrived in Athens the night before last, they were all drunk
I've got loads of pics and vids but no cable to off-load' them and post them.
Finally, all night, Italians and English are just enjoying the party in Athens' Syntagma square singing side by side. This has SO raised the profile and view of English fans abroad. Well done to the 'pudlians'
