In a muddle help needed please

Hello All
For some stupid reason i decided to download the latest update for direct x 9c and now MSX will not start.Any ideas please.
Why cant i leave things alone.

Andrew, Direct X drivers are notorious for this sort of thing, MS will probably fix the bug in their own sweet time, in the meantime, all you can do is roll back the update by going to "System Restore" from your control panel. (Assuming you have it switched on!)

I did use system restore and it did no solve the proble.BUT! for some reason FSX is now loading again.
I don't no why i just cant leave things alone i had no reason to fiddle around with Direct X everything was fine but i sometimes just cant resist a tinker.It was more foolish than normal because i have had a long period of stable running with no CTDs or other horribles in either FS9 or X.Anyway i shall leave things alone............................UNTIL TH E NEXT TIME agggh!;D
