Apparently there are some quite disturbing points about this crash....
1) Why was the RH engine not shutdown and the prop feathered?
2) Why did the pilot not land with bias to the left and keep the RH gear airbourne until the plane had slowed more?
These are questions being asked on PPrune by real pilots. The pilots were aware of possible problems with the RH gear but did not feather the prop, as a result the prop spinning at high speed, detached and penetrated the cabin, fortunately no one was hit by it. Also the plane should have been held on its left wheels far longer to prevent the type of slew that occurred. It is being said that the Danish military reported no visible problem with the wheel as it was inspected from a Helicopter and therefore the Pilots took this for granted that all was ok instead of believing their instruments! Of course, these questions are being raised on the "Rumor Network" so therefore we should wait for the crash report before we jump to conclusions.
