At this moment it seems YOU need training... contact us again when you'll have C1 and/or FC rating on IVAO.

btw you said IVAO is crap, stupid, the worst and urged everyone to join VATSIM, how come you're on ivao again??? especially after being banned for your behaviour and for sending swearing letters to ivao staff?????????

and pls stop advertising for other VAs, including signature... you were warned several times... there are plenty of web sites you can do it (fsinn, fscity, avsim, surclaro...)

Gergely :!

Could I just ask what is involved in being a EHM insturctor. I would love to be one when I get to C1. Only a S2 tought:|
I will be ATCing on Friday at EGLL as ground, for some practise.

Oh and Jarret, could you please try and use the Flight Logger (if you dont already). Your logged times seem very suspicious. Not saying your cheating tought ;)

Jarrett how were you able to do flight EHM-H354 (Sydney-Athens) in 14 hours??? It takes me 20 to do the flight to Port Vila, about 1-2 hours East of Sydney. How many re-fuelling stops did you make? I make 2 for trips to Oceania.

Cheers!

Alex;)

Maybe he used time acceleration over the ocean, or boring lands. ;)

Just thought of something........what does the rules say about time deceleration? like 1/2x and so on.........could easily be used to turn a short flight into a looong one if you know what i mean

I can see that you got a point there. I don't think that Gergely have thought about that. But on the other hand the ops manual do stat:
Quote

It’s permitted to fly at a simulation rate of 2x, 4x… as you have to submit your PC time.
If it had been allowed to use ½ x, I guess the rule would have said so. But still I can see your point, there is a gray area right there. But perhaps MT think that it's common sense, not to use deceleration

I think it is common sense not to deccelerate, the sense of accelrating is to go faster over ocean, desert... But to deccelerate??? It doesnt make sense, if you want to make flight hours and have x time to use, you can use it for 1 slow flight or two normal ones... It just doesnt make sense.

Anyways, anybody got an anecdote of what they did when they got bored on a long trip????;D;D;D

I admit I didn't thought about that so I didn't include it in the manual.

Decelerating might come handy if you're e.g. on final approach and you have an old PC (so you get low FPS and going with 'normal' speed won't allow you to correct mistakes...), however I think that would last only 1-2 minutes.

Ha! Well. It seems I turned my own Virtual airline against me. IVAO was just disturbing me Gergely, I had a bad day and they made it worse, so I got mad. Yes it was wrong and I sent apologies to them. And now I am getting better with them, I made IS-EC and I am doing things the right way with them and respecting all as I need to make up for my actions. As far as my flight suspision, yes Australia is long, why not use Accelerator? Oh, and I run my flights overnight by the way. Im not going to sit at my computer for 20 hours So I take off when I go to sleep, and land when I wake up? Like what real pilots do. Anyway, any other questions I could answer to you fine gentlemen? I mean, why would I cheat. I would only be cheating myself mates. Its a  hobby, not an event with money? I may be American, but that doesnt mean I cheat!! Oi, have some nerve. Frozen account? Out of the ammount of time I putinto EHM.

Oh yes, Gergely, about my advertising VAs. Its a signiture ! I have been busy creating a VA and I asked you to be partners, but no, your too good enough! Well, I must say even if I do get frozen, EHM is the best airline out there. But still, help out a fellow pilot eh?

Sorry all for the disturbence. I do not check back to Forums much, so sorry for late replies. Had to catch up with this long response. Good day all! Safe Landings! Happy flyings!

About advertising, we still have to stick to our rules. I have other VA too, however I don't have it in my signature. Also it's no use advertising here as you won't get more than 1-2 pilots... while if you posted it on fsinn, fscity, ivao, surclaro etc., you'd get dozens of them.

Also we decided years ago that we don't have any partners (VAs, VA alliances, real or virtual organizations), except VATSIM or IVAO, and we stick to this, so it's not about us being 'too good'.

I'm very happy you managed to sort it out with IVAO. :)

Ill check whats with your account tomorrow and send a reply...

In F1 you get to see drivers try to overtake each other through braking and accelerating at corners.....even if it is the same corner.......unlike a certain sport called NASCAR ;) (no offense guys)

I'm a fan of Kimi Raikkonen and Mclaren! ;D

NASCAR is all about optimal rubber wear and optimal top speed for it, in very demanding circumstances. I like that one and CART too! These are a really different way of racing compared to F1.
