Airbus a320 Question
« on: March 24, 2008, 01:39:38 pm »
Hello All
I have just been experimenting with the class5 a320 and i am sure it has much better take off characteristics than all my other IFDG a320s (these normally seem very underpowered on takeoff and climb )I don't know if i am imagining it or not;)but i was wondering if it would be okay to take the relevant file or files that control the planes handling, power etc from the Euroharmony 320  and place that in my other 320  aircraft folders?
I thought i would ask first if its  okay to do that,if it is  can you tell me which file it is ie the air file or model or both etc.
cheers Andy

Hi Andy,

if you mean the CFG and AIR files, that is not so simple to change them. It is possible, but you should carefully copy out instead what you need from the files to the new files. Anyway, it is a bit strange to alter a payware plane with out freeware airplane ;D It means we made something very good ;D

Thanks Robert
By the way the IFDG airbuses are freeware.

Doh, you are right, I missed it totally !

Then it is very simple ! You can copy over both files to your other IFDG Airbuses, you only need to keep the [flightsim] sections inside the original CFG file, so you can still be able to select the other A320s too in the game ;)

Hello Again
Do you mean copy the Aircrat CFG  File  AND the Air file from the EuroHarmony A320 to my other a320s.
Minus the FLTSIM() bit of course.
cheers Andy

Exactly ;) But first it is better to do a backup of the old files.
