Unfortunately the Liza Minelli concert was cancelled at Budapest, and the lovely Bonnie Tyler presented a sudden show for the dissappointed fans. :[
The show was good enough and some VIP person wanted to get back home, so we started our journey. We flew from Budapest to Manchester, for refuelling and then to New York, La Guardia.
The trip started in sunny, early afternoon at budapest, with usual scene: fellow planes on the gates.

The trip across Europe was usual, nothing serious happened. Here is the landing in Manchester.

An hour later we were "on the air" again with full of gas.

Leaving the coasts of Wales, climbing to cruise level.

Over the beautiful green island of Ireland. Cruising level was a bit unusual for me: FL370, near the top of the Boeing BBJ2.

After Ireland there was nothing but open sea...and open sea...and the race started at Silverstone. Go Kimi!

Aftert 4 hours we finally reached over land again. These are the scattered Newfoundland coasts.

Flying over Boston. There is a heavy traffic down there on the Logan Int'l Airport.

Descended to transition level. Unfortunately Kimi lost the race to Schumacher. Congrats to Ferrari, once more. :%

Approaching the Big Apple, bouncing into heavy clouds. Sun is setting. What a perfect timing for screenshots

.

Over Harlem, with the George Washington bridge.

At 3000' with middle Manhattan in the background. La Guardia is on the opposite side...I had to make a full turnaround because of the winds. Passengers enjoyed the sight.

And, finally the turn back to catch the glide slope. Wish those Towers still existed.....

Arrived to the "Land of Eagles".

The airport was very busy this time.

Parked in the most northern area of the airport, far away from the nasty reporters and paparazzos.

FAREWELL NEW YORK ! It was a fabolous flight again. What a view, with the control tower, the Empire States Building and the Chrysler Building.

Thank you for flying with us again! Hope you enjoyed it.
