I just landed on a flight from KMGM to KATL in the Sukhoi S-80GP, I had a wierd experience on takeoff as well as during approach and landing.
On takeoff, as i spooled up the engines to about 70% of full throttle, it began to try and turn the airplane left or right violently just for a while, and it stopped once i increased the power further...I tested it again after the flight without any wind and the same thing happened.
Then, from departure at KMGM till the descent into ATL, there was nothing wrong. But as I slowed down and prepared to turn to intercept the localizer at ATL, lowering the flaps as well, the number 2 engine's torque reading began to go up and down wildly, swinging my plane about on the yaw axis.
I managed to solve it by pulling back the propeller lever of that engine which lowered its RPM slightly and got the torque to stabilize. What I don't understand is what caused it, and especially why it happened only when i was about to land...
Any ideas anyone?
