A background project...
« on: September 18, 2004, 05:31:46 pm »
Well,

I was quite dissapointed when found that there is not a good looking panel available for the TU-204 aircraft. Therefore I started paint a new one. The panel background is almost done, now I will add the gauges one by one.

I will make a sidepanel for display control, pedestral, and overhead panel too. I want to paint as nice as possible, so probably there will be many individual gauges too. It means I have no scheduled finish time for this project. I have seen, there will be a payware TU-204 aircraft soon from a Russian designer team, they plan to release it early 2005. I hope my panel will be ready before that date. ;D

I'll be looking forward to the release, I'm sure flying the TU-204 will be better, when you have finish the panel. But I know you have many projects on you're drawingboard.

Thank you Tim. I do not know if I will ever finish this panel...I had a bad habit that want to make everything perfect. I planned to make this panel with many many new, or updated gauges, also with many XML gauges. That means even more work, because I have to alter/change many graphics, and have to make the short programs too for the gauges. Of course I could use many sources as template, but even with it, this panel is a huge project in my mind.

I can send you the current background image, but that is not all in my mind, and the other panels even not started. Thanks anyway.

And if you are bored, you can fly more to the company ;D, or even better: you could improve yourself by learning PHP, or SQL programming that would be very useful to yourself and for the company too. ;)
