After a month gap in my flying career I decided to do an easy and relaxing flight to the Caribbean Sea.
I jumped in to a 752, and headed for the Princess Juliana Airport...yes, yes, it is TNCM, with the famous "Over the fence" approach.
The flight begun in the early morning, in Lisbon. It was strange, that I visited Portugal the first time after the BC.

Before takeoff. Fortunately the row is not too long in front of me. Look at that, another 752, but it is heading for Madeira island.

Climbing to cruise level near the Portuguese coasts.

I was having lunch, when we left Santa Maria, so I could not make shots of the only land on our flight over the Ocean. It was about noon, when we reach above the Carribbean islands. Nics cumulus clouds as we were descending to transition level.

Visual approach started with a "look-around" over the airport.

And the famous approach started. I was coming in a bit too low, and when I corrigated it, I moved a bit above the glide slope...

The Hotel view

Still a bit high...

Touchdown, over the fence was almost perfect, a little bit to the right. Touchdown speed was a bit high so I had to turn around at the end of the runway.

It was a nice little flight. Now I enjoy the sunshine, so do not expect me in the next few weeks
