Ok all you clever people who obviously worked this out for yourselves...i have downloaded the badge generator and got it to make me a badge but when i click ok it just vanishes and god only knows where to!? How can i find it and how do i get it onto my avtar??

Did you check in the directory where you installed the Badge Generator?

It should be there as badge.jpg or something similar.

After you have the avatar file found, get onto www.imageshack.us and place it online, use the direct link (I think) and place that in the section for avatars in the control panel.
