I agree that the Screenshots Library is pretty, but I can't Log-in to library :(, and I can't vote in tehe contest :(. When I try to log in on Pilot Id: 1498 and Password: my password :) then the library shows me "Invalid Pilot Id or Password" :( What shall I do?

Be sure your password is correct, tell the webpage to send it back to you so you can check.

Sounds really weird. I think you should try once more. I have just checked your pilot id and your password, and have been able to log in. I think you must have hit a wrong key. As far as I know the SSL is connected to the same member database as everything else. So if you are able to submit a PiRep, then you should be able to log in to the SSL. Try again and if it still doesn't work then contact your hub captain or me, and we will do everything to help you.

One thnig that really is a bummer.... the fact that you can only up-load 150k pics. Ive tried everything and it wont upload, cos' of size. Could we bump up the size? Or have an external host (e.g. imageshack.us) were a mod looks at the pic first?

If you can, try to lower a bit the image compressing quality. I use Photoshop and usually the images fit into the 150k with even many details, and I usually select quality level 8 out of 12.

AMD X4-955 3.2GHz / Gigabyte 770T / 4 GB DDR / Gigabyte GTS450 1GB DDR
Samsung 226BW@1680x1050 / WinXP.3 / FS9.1 / FSX.1 / Saitek Cyborg 3DGold

Hi Tim,

as Roberto suggested, any program to edit pictures
allows you to set the compression/quality level of
a jpeg. Given the 800x600 pixel limit, you can easily
lower the file size under 150K if you set the level
somewhere between 70% an 90%.

If you have a picture that you really can't
get under the 150K limit without loosing an
unacceptable amount of quality, please post
it here as an high quality version and let me
try.

Ciao ciao!

Save your picture as a JPEG, then it still has good quality and also very small!;)

At school i wanted to show my mates some of my shots in EHM. The quick way to go about it was to use the search function and type Jonathan Rasmussen.

Everything i type in comes up with this text:

Quote

stringToQuery::error 07 - Invalid Pair

What can i do to make this work!

Jonathan, the search function available in the Screenshot Library has
some (hopefully) nice features, but is nowhere near the flexibility of
a search engine like google.com, where you type anything and it will
come up with reasonably good results.

In the case of the Screenshot Library, you need to provide
at least -some- hint of what you are looking for.
In your case, as a search by name is not available,
you need to insert the string pilot=1343 to retrieve all
your screenshots.

This said, please notice, beside the Search button, a question mark.

If you click on it, you'll find the documentation of the Search function,
and the other type of search that are currently available.

Hope it helps.

Ciao ciao!

Manu
