Hi guys, thanks for the kind words!

Now I am done with experimenting and will try to figure out our new LSZH terminal. I found a suitable site to 'prolong' the existing one and will add 1 heavy and 1 medium gate.

[edit]
I am satisfied with geometry so far, will keep you posted when I do some texturing.
Cheers

No update still, I am holding you all on ice :] I just need an EHM font, if anyone has it?

Quick note that terminal will be great, I even figured out AFCAD, so we''l have FS recognized taxiways, parking stripes and gates E1 and E2, hehe

My msn is divarch_77@hotmail.com, thanks

Robert the link does not work, it just says HTTP 404 not found Open the robert.euroharmony.com home page, and then look for links to the information you want.

I edited it meantime, coz did not know the system is case-sensitive for filenames. Now it should work.

Woohoo! Been desparate to know the font that the logo uses... But that brings a new set of issues; to get something that looks similar to the logo, what kerning value should I be using. If no-one can give me a definative answer, not a problem as I can play until I get something close...

EDIT: Answering my own post (and providing a service for other repainters/modellers) I can get something reasonably close to the logo at the head of the forum in PSP using Ventilate at 72pt, bold and italic, with kerning at 75.

Hi guys,
sorry for not answering for long, I got delayed in making the terminal, partially on private bases, partially on having some weird issues in GMax exporting, until I realized it's a known BUG!

So, when I browse for the bug solutions, I will continue doing it... Terminal is done completely, I am now adding few hangars, as well as some statics to give it life.

Sorry again and see ya!

I think if someone is dissapointed, then they have better prove that they can do it better. I think it looks fantastic, not that I had any doubt that you would make something good and worth seeing.

With the new scenary for the hubs, we should make sure to include some note to the pilots downloading the files, mentioning the fact that as the terminal
are fictional, they can be used for offline flights only, as online ATC wouldn't
have a way to know about them.

Just a suggestion.

Excellent work Dejan.

Thanks guys!

I am sorry to say that gate will remain public, no matter what I do to prevent it. I even edited afcad config files to add a new company (you guess which one), and to reserve the gate usage to it, but no go... :(

As U can see here from the AFCAD screenshot:

Blue ones our ours(E1-heavy, E2-med, P18-open hangar from previous post)

Parking users window only adds users, does not prevent all the others!! I.E. If I select, say 'Eurofly' from the drop-down, their callsign will only appear on the list, it will not make the gate their property!!
So, every gate and park is available to all.
Unless, some EHM AI traffic guru can make static planes at our positions (which I think is possible)
.....

Manu, I had your idea in mind and it will be done, if the addon becomes EHM official, all support and instructon files will surely be included.
As I discussed with Gergely, will it work with other LSZH addons? I can't tell, I don't have any..
Will it work on FS2k2?
I doubt it, because of AFCAD2 being used.
All other stuff is in range of normal, it's not CPU intensive, no frame-rate drops, etc.. textures are at 1024res with DXT1....

Now going back to work, I can't wait to make a flight from it!
Cheers all!

Hmm.......stick some invisible static planes there so the AI can't park there......sounds like a good idea :P only that that would also prevent our own AI flights from parking there too.....

Great work Dejan! Unfortunately if AI planes cannot find more free spots they will gather the unwanted places too. Also in FS2004 you can tell an aircraft (inside the aircraft.cfg)what airline codes (or aprons) it must search for first, and if still no empty then it will park at any available ones.

Thanks for kind remarks guys!

@Razza:
I am not sure when will it be released, I know it will be finished until next weekend, at most! Will it become a part of suggested download section and when, I cannot tell.
Thing is, apart from 'environment' I am still making, I plan to do an EHM 'landmark' which will mark a certain event in EHM history, related to Zurich! .....What event?.... I still have no clue!! :)  ( all suggestions from U and others are welcome!)

@Zhen Yi:
Yep, it will, it a was just an idea...
As I said, I cannot make our gates vacant all the time, the same as I cannot instruct the _gnd controller to point me to E1 when I land :)

@Robert:
Thanks man, I appreciate it!
It would really amke a hell of a job to filter all the airliners codes off, so you can make a single gate vacant:(
Maybe with AFCAD3...

Cheers all and expect some more over the weekend and the next week!

Hi Dejan,

you know ProjectAI AI models and repaints are programmed to use the airline codes for gates. If you set EHM to your Zurich AFCAD, and enter EHM into all of your EuroHarmony AI aircraft CFGs to the proper place, then you can quite easily filter out this problem. ;)

I have been playing around with the AI to get the AI Flight Plans for EuroHarmony running on my system.  By editing the AFCAD file I first added EHM to a set of parking spaces.  But then I ended up removing airline settings on about 20 other spaces to insure that any other airlines would park at those spots first.  The rule is that AI will only park in a spot set up for a different airline (parking code) if there are no more spots without any designator/parking code.  Actually the rule is more complex than that but the basics are as I mentioned.  By insuring that there is a large amount of unmarked/undesignated parking spaces other airplanes should stay away from the EHM gates.
I think the new Terminal is great.  With the AI Flight plans there are a lot more than 2 EuroHarmony planes at the hubs at one time.  I have seen as many as 20 based on the time of day.  Is there any chance the Terminal will be expanded to include more gates?

Hi guys, first to say sorry for not replying for a long time....
Hub improvements did not went fast as I expected, cause I got some other jobs to do.

Anyway, I am now working along with Robert in making all the static objects, service vehicles, etc... We'll not overdo it, don't worry, saving the energy for some other hubs.

Here's a shot of an update (pax steps truck)

Hope U like it, and be patient...:)

Cheers
