FS Nav problems

Hi guys,

I have a problem and was wonderring if anyone else has experinced the same thing, and managed to fix it.

I start up FS9, put the plane on the ground and if I leave it for a while, nothing strange happens. This is until I press F9 to open up FSNavigator (v4.6 - registered). Sometimes I get about 10 seconds to do what I wish, but usually I get to see the map and then FS just closes, without giving any error messages. I have completely uninstalled FSNav and reinstalled it correctly, but that fails to work.

If anyone could shed some light it would be much appreciated,

regards,

It happens to me, when I used a wrong XP-unfriendly gauge, and I thought that FSNAV is the bad guy, but I later discovered the nasty gauge.

Hmmm...I am sorry to say that I could not give you exact answer. Something has happened to your FS which causes unstability of FSNAV. Perhaps you installed some bad sceneries, aircrafts, FSUIPC... There must be a reason for such sudden bugs, you should remember what did you do with your FS installation and PC before the bug came up.

And if you have to wait too much time before FS give you back the control, until that small moment while it puts up the unwanted crash report...then it means that those long seconds used by Windows to clear up the 200-300 MBs of crashed FS from the memory, and not FS was working of give you back the controls. :s

Hi Robert,

Thanks a lot for your help, I must say there are a lot of add-ons on FS at the moment....most I have only used once (eg. random scenery files).

I think that it gives me an excuse to unistall and re-install, giving me a fresh start. Maybe I'll even completely re-format my PC.

Thanks again,
