I recently finished a flight (2300) and the last flow by is not updated.  I also did not appear as a valid pirep (and I even counted everyone as they boarded..:).  It seems that there are four other pireps between the person listed as the last flown (and also as the last valid pirep) and mine.  Both of these pireps are not complete (missing some information).  Anyway not sure if this is really that large of an issue but wanted to mention it as it is nice to show up on the valid pirep list.

Thank you for reporting this. I'm not really sure why your PiRep is listed as not valid, as far as I can see it should be valid. We will have a look at it to see if we can find out what's wrong.

Did you report the flight with the flight logger or with the PIREP form at the website?

What was the time when you reported the flight?

I've also had this problem a few times before, but I didn't think anything of it. It still gave me hours and showed up on my flights list though...

Cheers,
Jonny

I did not use the logger (I have been having problems with my GoFlight where the engines would just shut off in the middle of the flight (which causes a quick scramble to restart and scares the passengers a good deal....:o  So I could not use the logger.  I think I fixed it this weekend though (no engine out on the last two flights..:>  It is also a minor problem for the site so not exactly a big deal.  The last flight I made with the Antonov reported fine.

Sorry, not sure which time you are referring to.  The last flight was 2301 engine started at 10:14

I usually have this problem, i.e. the flight doesn't show up in the Last Flown and doesn't appear as valid; however it will after a certain time (about 1 day or so)...

Manu?

Just a question, will using the visual approach disqualify the flight from being "valid"?

I dont think so.

You can use visual approach. That doesnt depend on making it valid or not.

I use visual approach 90-95% of the time, and I havent had any problems seeing my flights come up on the Last Flown or having it counted as valid.

Alex;)

Well, the problem is based on the current flight time that you put on the pirep.

I mean, because all of us are from different countries :), there is a gap interval on the longitude time, so, if I register a flight because I have GMT time on my computer, the flight will apper immediatly because the server time is on GMT (or close to that) too.

What happened to Russ is that he is from the States, so he registered the flight 5 hours difference from the server :) .. So, it will only appear, five hours after he put it there ;) ...

So, I will change the script to be based on one information that is written by the machine : The submit pirep time.

After this, all the flights will appear immediately after you register them.
