Payware repaints (part 2)

I wrote, elsewhere
... was thinking the Piaggio Avanti ...

Which reminds me...

I have just bought the FSD International Piaggio Avanti model for FS2004. Does anyone in management have a JPG/PNG/GIF/BMP/whatever copy of the EHB colour palette so I can give it an EHB repaint.

They have a paintkit for the model (repaints are OK as long as you don't charge money for them, and you attribute the model/paintkit to FSD Int. in any documentation), so all I need is the EHB palette.

Hi Murray,

We cannot just give the EHM palette to anyone that wants to paint an aircraft.

First, we need to know if it is reliable of painting a kind of airplane, because after that we need put the textures on the Fleet page and share them to anyone.

So, all I can say right now is that we have some proposals (from pilots like you that have payware aicrafts) to make some special repaints.
We started with the PMDG BeechCraft 1900D, and we will not stop, that i can assure you.

We will give it a thought though ... so, keep in touch because we will think about it and give our shot about if we are going to put that airplane in the "textures-to-make-for-payware-aircrafts" queue or not.

See ya!

Thanks for the reply Bruno.

Given the "rumours" about the Avanti being dropped from the EHB fleet (sure SirRoberto posted something about it...) I might just screen grab the current Avanti and eye-drop the palette from it.

At least that way I'll have a close repaint for personal use - my PMDG B1900D repaint (other topic...) was done for the same reason, then Maabaa did his "much more like the EHM original" repaint of the same.

Anyhow, not important right now, I'm going to be flying the IVAO VFR WT part 1 before I fly any EHB flights, so I've got a few weeks to think about it.
