Hi everyone.

Who fly on FSX? I have a surprise for you  ;D
Applies to flight ETEB - EDDT.

Download the attachment and unzip it. (event.zip)

- EventRedCrossing (folder)
- EDDT Parking 29.jpg

Paste EventRedCrossing to FSX folder \ Addon Scenery
and instal scenry in FSX.
so
in FSX menu: World - Scenery Library
In the Scenery Library tool, click on "Add Area.." and navigate to the scenery folder. Click on the folder "EventRedCrossin" that contains the scenery and texture folders and press ok.

Windows 7/10 Users: There is a small glitch when adding scenery in Windows 7/10. After you have selected the scenery to be added, the OK button can be pressed but nothing happens. To get around this, simply press OK, then left or right click on any of the white space in the opened folder box, and the scenery will be added.

OK. Scenery is added. Then fly June 12 or later to EDDT and park your aircraft to 29 stand. file "EDDT Parking 29.jpg" is a map.

Don't look at the scenery before you fly. It's a surprise.

Have a nice flight.

PS.
I hope it works.   :D

Yes, it's an annoying bug. I had read about it like 10 years ago, but I was very happy with the reminder because I did not remember how to exactly do this anymore. Thanks from my side too!
Can't wait for flying the final leg! Next week, probably...

Hi Guys,

I was planning to make the final leg of the Red Crossing Germany-event together with you. However, because of the excellent - almost tropical - weather over here in Holland, the wife and I decided to expand our stay on Texel for a couple of days more. Came home this afternoon and flew the leg from Angsbach to Berlin on my own in rainy conditions, like the weather over here too.

Thanks Andrew for organizing the welcome comity of which I took some pictures, shown here below.  I do however have some question marks:

- Did you invite as much twins as you could find?
- Did you pay them a lot to keep them on waving, even after having left the plane and platform?
- Some of them seem more interested in an upcoming arrival. They seem to look another way.
- Those Chinese twins in grey suits in front... who are they calling?

Just some questions out of pure curiosity  ;D :D :)

During this summer period I'm not sure if and when I can start with the next event (Breitling-tour). I'll be spending a lot of time outside for short or longer periods. I'll keep in touch and if there're plans to fly online together, I'll hope to join.

Meet you on Mumble,

Peter
