Easy to medium. This Event promises a mix of challenges - large international airports and small island strips. The weather may range from sunny and warm to tropical cyclones. But none of this poses a problem for our aircraft of choice, the venerable DC-3 of course!

Description

This Event meanders through a region historically associated with traders, spices and precious commodities. We will be flying from Singapore to New Zealand, stopping in Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, the Solomons, Vanuatu and New Caledonia amongst others! Much of the region is volcanic so the terrain is spectacular but with unpredictable weather. There are a couple of long over water stretches at the end as there isnt much terra firma out there to land on! Total distance is about 6500nm.
