Although this is a pretty resounding success for Airbus, it must be said that a lot of those orders above are merely MOU's (or LOI's in Boeing speak!) which means the deal can be changed. This said they have picked up well over 400 firm orders. Boeing never fairs well at any airshow, they tend to announce deals as they happen rather than flying the airline chiefs in to airshows on an all expenses paid jolley to Airbus land.
