It has been a while since I made my last post in this topic, so it´s time to give you a little update.
I am here at the KLM Flight Academy for 1 1/2 month now and it still is great. Time flies and it´s a strange idea that I am already on 1/6 of the theory part:> It´s not always big fun here, because we had some tests this week...
This meant that I had to learn a lot of hours before the tests began. Last Tuesday, I had meteorology and air law. On Wednesday, it was time for the most difficult subject: principles of flight (aerodynamics). Meteorology gave me the worst feeling afterwards, but the other 2 tests gave me a much better feeling.
Afterwards, I can say that these feelings were correct. The results:
- Meteorology:
68%- Air law: 100%
- Principles of Flight: 100%
These tests were not offical, but when we have tests prior to our exam, we need to have at least a score of 70% before the school lets me to the final exam.
For the other people who want to become a pilot: when you look at the other scores, you´ll think that these were quite easy. Well, they were, but they are only when you learn, learn, learn, learn and learn.
When a students gets a score of 100%, he should jump into the holy pond. Because of the low temperatures here in the Netherlands during this period, I decided to go only once. Man, that was cold! But it was it worth!
So far this update, replying on this post is possible in this thread:
