I would highly recommend FSScreen. It has a tiny memory and CPU footprint, and more importantly, it just works...
If my memory serves it lacks detailed instructions, so to summarize:-
Copy the FSScreen EXE to where you want the grabbed screen shots to go (it captures to the folder it is executed from...) If you want to make it easier, create a shortcut on the desktop.
Run FSScreen. It'll pop up it's little window, feel free to minimize it.
Run FS, fly, be free...

Any time you want to grab a screen shot, hit the Print Screen key and FSScreen will just do it with no muss and no fuss...
