Difficulty
Moderately difficult. Of course, doing this in real life adds some specific challenges, but in a simulator the biggest challenge is probably going to be staying alert on longer legs.Description
Well be following in the footsteps of Jack Wiegand, as he soloed around the world back in 2013 to become the youngest solo orbiter at that time. He flew a Mooney 20, as it has a nice high cruise speed of 242 kts, and a range of 1100nm on standard tanks. Actually, he used extra range tanks to extend his range to 2000 nm - and he flew a couple of 2000nm legs too... For this event, the longest legs are around that 2000nm for us too. So to keep things flyable, we allow for a private jet. We have selected the Challenger 850, but any twin jet aircraft will do. So if you have a spare Gulfstream in your hangar ...Legs
