Hi,

It was not your problem, so you don't need to start it all over again. Go with the Dornier until the end.

Also, if pilots started the flight with other airplanes, just inform your respective hub managers of it.

The other ones, start with the regular embraers please.

Good luck in our adventure!!

Yes. You are stuck.

That's why I really suggest that after you fill the pirep lock the airplane immediately.

This is crazy. There are (as shown in the events section) 8 aircraft for an active pilot list of over 150. That presumably means that only 8 people can compete in this event which does make it rather elitist. That is not what a VA should be about especially when there are members in time zones all over the world.

If an event is scheduled to start at a particular time then fine - a personal decision can be made as to whether to be around at that time. The start time should have been re-scheduled.

Rant over.

Hi Tim. It's solved out.

It was a technical database problem as we talk about it ... I don't know what triggered it.

The airplane is active again. Have a good flight.

Hi Bill,

Unfortunately I have personally apologize for that.

The only responsible here was me who, even with some internal MT suggestions to increase the number of airplanes for the event, did stayed with the first option of only load 8 embraers. And the problem was not to bad because we already had 3 there. So that makes 11. Even so, very short now.

Bill, next event I will not do the same mistake. I promise you ;) ...

Hi Adelio,

Welcome to the Forum.

Are you doing a ProPilot flight ? Using flight logger ?

People,

I got a annoying situation of a pilot that was waiting for other to finish his flight, to quickly "steal" the airplane from the first pilot.

I will not give names, but I want to advise you not to do it because it's very annoying to the pilot that is doing all the legs with that airplane.

I forced the unlock from the the second one, and gave the airplane to the correct first pilot.

If these events are so popular more planes should be made available. ;)

As Events Manager please apologize me... i was abroad for some days for holidays so i was unnable to help Bruno and all people from MT on the starting of Dakar..
You are right... 8 planes are very few but we didn´t expect so much popularity of this event...
In next events the things will be different...
Till there, enjoy the Dakar! :>
Safe landings,

Well it looks like this event is going down a storm...... It's that popular that now someone stole the plane I have flown 7 legs from lisbon with! Ahh well, hopefully the next one will go alittle smoother. :%

That's outrageous. Whoever did that should be booted out. Bruno has already warned about that. Hopefully he can get it back for you to carry on.

Hi,

The situation is solved. No one will be booted out. I am sure Desmond didnt made it to harm someone. It's just the "heat of the game" ;) ..

So, everything is back to normal. Have fun and all I can guarantee is that this is not Desmond's totally fault. If we have inserted more airplanes none of this had happened.

How do I get my plane back so I can carry on? I did NOT crash and My plane is now gone?. Please remedy this!
Also, I should be able to carry on with leg 9 as I have already done the other legs.
