Bruno m8, I still can't lock E056 neither E057

The list shows up completely empty..

But in the Flogger, I can find the flight and select it and even fly it, but it will not be a ProPilot flight  :s

Good morning all,
After having waited 3 days to continue the event I still cannot lock my plane. So I leave it there in LEMG and go back to normal operation.
I wish the rest of you fun and happy landings in the event.
Regards,
Jaap

Same problem here as Rico. I think there may be a problem of date/time too because I only tried to lock the flight this morning.

After hearing about Jaap's difficulties I suspect that there is one day difference between the apparent closing dates and what the system actually allows. This is just a wild guess, of course...

You could be right Andrei. When I landed at LEMG on Saturday I took a look at the flightlist and saw everything filled in. As I wanted to fly PP on Sunday with a B763 I did not lock at that point. When I came back on Monday (the 7th) to lock the Beech the flightlist was empty. And it still is.

Unfortunately it's being hard to find the problem. The flight and airports are well inserted on the database.

.. it's something new here ... hold on mates.

Argh !!! It's solved!

What a strange bug on mysql 5.0 !! .. I don't know if you guys know mysql queries, but basically MySQL is not understanding the "where end_date >= now()" if we have a end_date = '2008-01-10' :o:o:o:o:o

I think I have discovered a MySQL bug here.

The end date was delayed to tomorrow. Have fun and sorry guys, but it wasn't our mistake directly :(

Wow! Landing at Smara was really... intense.

Not only the airport is in a "cauldron", but while flying with real weather I had the nasty surprise to find this cauldron covered with thick clouds, or myst, or sandstorm or whatever. The result was that the runway was visible only AFTER going down into the cauldron.

Managed to land on second attempt while overflying the cauldron edge at less than 50ft height and still got to the runway threshold way above it.

But, like Guelmin, fortunately the runway is long. Really long...

This time, locked next leg without problems (as Hector did too some hours before).

Hi, all seems right about locking the tour legs now but I fear a problem ahead.

According to the leg list, one leg (a week away from now) terminates at "GOSS, Saint Louis" and the next one begins at "GOSS, Tambacounda". I thought initially that the two arte synonymous, but happened to notice that Tambacounda is in fact GOTT.

No problem if it's just a typo in the list... as long as the leg database is OK. Just checking...

Thanks
Andrei

Bruno,

I experienced the same problem with the Beech as with the F70, the nose dipping on final resulting in a crash.

Dunno if its a scenery glitch ot the plane itself.

Maybe you can reset the flight for me ?

Andrei, it's a "typo" bug. Will correct it asap. The word is logically Tabacounda :)

Rico, sorry mate, we don't have spare airplanes for this event :( ....

Sorry about that Rico. You were one hour ahead of me and I thougth you had landed.

Good pilots keep their number of landings equal to their number of takeoffs. Takeoffs are optional but landings are Mandatory.
