could it be because my selected aicraft doesnt match the aircraft im using..

Current aircraft name: EuroHarmony Dornier 228-212
Selected aircraft name: Dornier 228-100

Hmm since the fleet page only offers the 100 and not the 212 then there shouldnt be any problems despite the discrepencies......it depends on how the logger is coded though

There's an error on Flight Logger (v2.4.20). In Class 4 aircrafts, there is Airbus A319-100 instead of Embraer 170. Can you fix it please? Thanks!

I have a problem in Flight Logger. I recently get ranked CC but in my Flight Logger it shows FC and there are only Class 1 to Class 4 flights! It should also appear Class 5 flights! Can anyone help me?? Is it a bug?? :s

Two things, which version do you use, look at the top of the flight logger, should be v2.4.20 (think it's the latest, that's the one I use anyway works fine) Try and press the update button. I have used my management powers and tried your pilot id on my flight logger and I get class 5 too. I hope it will work otherwise come back

Problem solved. Just restarted the PC. Maybe a cache problem! But thanks for your help anyway! :)

Can someone please tell me if there is a way to run Flight Logger while I'm flying one of the flights on a tour?

I noticed that the tour flights are not listed in the Flight Logger Timetable (not that I could find anyway), so I wasn't sure how to set it up to log my flight.

Is it possible to run Flight Logger by just choosing a plane but without designating a flight number?

I guess I'm just spoiled now and don't want to input all of the information manually.  :>

Thanks in advance!

- Jen

Hey Jen

You have found one of the few things that our flight logger can do. You can still use it but you are not able to send an automatic PiRep like you can with a flight that is in the timetable. So I'm sorry you will have to enter all the info manually. But the logger should be able to get all the info for you.

Excellent!  I'm glad to know that I can still use it to log all of the flight information... it will still make filling out the PIREP easier.

Thank you!

Just noticed a new error......posted it somewhere else but realised this is probably the best place for posting it

i've recently been getting an error that says "Run-time error '-2147217887 (80040e21)': Non-nullable column cannot be updated to Null." when trying to update the Flight Logger even after downloading and installing the latest version of the Flight Logger avaliable.....any idea what's going wrong?

I have a very old question, meaning some thing I have wonder about for the last couple of versions.
This is just out of pure curiosity, why is there two check boxes labellet "local ACARS enabled"

btw I hope this new version will bring some pilot to KATL, so Maarten don't have to be there all on his own.

Hi. Today I tried flying with a helicopter on ProPilot. The first couple of times the flight logger crashed. I maneged to take off 1 time without it crashing and got to my destination. It seems that the flightlogger can't work when there is vertical speed and slow IAS. When I tried making the flight back (lzrk-lszh is the only flight and there are no other aircraft so I'm stuck there for 24h) but while I was landing slowly, the flightlogger crashed again. I might be wrong, but I see no other explanation... I hope that whatever the problem is, you'll fix it in the next flightlogger :)

I hope that question have not been asked a million times before.

But when i want to start up FlightLogger follwing errors occur:

1. "cannot inizalize data bindings"

2. "Run time error 9: subscript out of range"

How can i solve that problem??

Regards

Help!!!

I come across a bit of a problem with the flight logger. To make a long story short, I have reinstall from scratch. So this also means installing the FS and the Flight logger again. But the Flight logger can't find my FS, meaning it don't show the path on the preference tab. This mean the flight logger is not very useful to me. I have tried installing it on different hard disks [got 3]. Didn't change anything. When I first installed it, my FSUIPC wasn't registered in the FS. Have now tried with the FSUIPC registered, no change. I have tried uninstalling and installing 5 or 6 times. And have every time removed the settings in windows registry, just in case.
The only thing theres different from my old install is the WIN XP is English instead of Danish. And because of that the FS is placed in another program folder then it was in the Danish version.

edit: Problem solved, did a little freehand writing in the registry. So it seems to be working.

I'll apologise in advance to anyone who is sick of seeing this problem, as I'm sure it can be sorted out with a few simple tweaks.

I've already visited the Topic which tried to deal with the problem, but this is the main page, so I'm going to give it one more go in here. *Fingers crossed*

When I start the Logger, I put in my EHM number, and my password. Straight away, I get a message saying that I'm not connected to the internet. But I am.

After this, comes the Error message " Run-time error '13': Type mismatch "

Now, I made all the tweaks suggested.

I moved the MSBIND.DLL to the System32 folder and linked it with the " regsvr32 C:\Windows\System32\MSBIND.DLL " command.

Then, I moved the MSSTDFMT.DLL to the system 32 folder and linked it using the " regsvr32 C:\WINDOWS\system32\MSSTDFMT.DLL " command.

Also, I have the FSUIPC.DLL installed. (It was installed through an IVAO addon)

I'm stumped - it would be really great if I could get a solution - FLogger is so handy to have, I used it before, about a year back.

I'm running FS2004 on XP.
