We are aware of a common bug on some systems. The new panel of the CRJ200 aka Challenger 850 uses a special DLL, called GaugeSound.dll, it is not proved yet, but probably this unusual DLL cause the problem.

It should be run from the FS main folder. It is packed within the installer to the correct place. If you have problems with it, try to copy this gauge to your Windows/system32 folder too. Possibly it is a windows bug that we are facing with.

i don;t know whats causing this problem but everytime i try to load the challenger 850, my FS hangs there till it says that an error occured and would you like to restart FS.

i've tried loading up the plane at the start and also changing to it after loading the FS flight in another plane. anyone else have such problems?

That Triple seven is just amazing! And I'm very happy to see that we re-introduced in our fleet a Bombardier!

Hi,

I had the same problem with the C850 and did some tests today to locate it. I kept comparing our files with an (older, probably) original version of Hector Molina's panel, which worked almost well with the EHM aircraft.

I thought there is some (DLL?) version compatibility issue, and it still may be, but I eventually found out a shortcut that does the trick (for me, at least).

I noticed the problem is related to the virtual cockpit. That is, by installing the Eurobusiness kit THEN removing the virtual cockpit sections from PANEL.CFG I eliminated the problem along with it. As I almost never use 3D panel, for me it's problem solved. And it may help to find the real cause.

What bothers me is that at some point I got a configuration (of mixed files from the 2 kits) that worked with the EHM PANEL.CFG, but was unable to reproduce it later.

Hope this helps...

Andrei

Thanks Andrei, so the buggy file is within the VC section. We will try to locate it...

Dear pilots,

before moving forward, we need some feedback from the users who struggling use of the C850 panel. Basically some answers needed, here or in E-mail:

- Windows version (XP SP2 works fine)
- FS version (9.1 patched works fine)
- FSUIPC version (registered works fine)

no more tips.

Hey mates, if you could load the C850 and you are sitting in a nice quiet grey cockpit with 3 black screens you did it ! There is a small button on the bottom of the panel that will turn them on, and you will see: broadcast ;D

Tried "E" + quickly "1" +quickly "2" ? That must synchronize the engines. Also an F1 or F4 command should do it usually if they were gone alone.

Hello All
Firstly congrats on the new Eurobusiness livery. All that purple in the old fleet made sure i never flew EBs before.
However!I tried out the new Airbus a310 Elite and although its a good looker i found it to be a bit performance heavy ie texture lag changing views etc(thats despite having changed all textures to dxt3)so i wonder how other pilots are finding it?On the other hand  the EuroHarmony a320 is fine though ,no performance issues with that particular model.
cheers Andy

Hi Andy,

thank you for the kind words. Well, the new A318 uses not DXT-3 textures, but the non-compressed 32 bit format. It is not so unique, and your system should not have problems with it, also the texture folder is not too high either. I do not know a particular reason. Nowadays I have similar issues with some planes, but somehow my system slowed down a bit so I cannot point to any aircraft models about that.

Thanks Robert
I  shouldn't really judge on one flight, and i will try another tonight and see how it goes.
PS i see we have a nice 777 now, unfortunately as with the Euroharmony 747s all the flights are massive long hauls.I wish there more medium range flights for these aircraft.
Cheers Andy

Andy, have a look at our 'maintenance' flights.
As you know we have an agreement with Lufthansa Technik to service our Birds in Frankfurt (EDDF). Have a look at the timetable. All hubs are connected to Frankfurt, if you're interested in short haul large class flights.

Rico, my man,

you need to do a bit refreshing to your timetable probably.
Anyway, if you search from within the site's timetable you'll find them.

They are:

EHM-9002  EGLL  06:30  EDDF  08:45  1234567  7  EuroHarmony
EHM-9005  LPPT  06:30  EDDF  08:30  1234567  7  EuroHarmony
EHM-9008  EHAM  06:30  EDDF  07:15  1234567  7  EuroHarmony
EHM-9011  LSZH  06:30  EDDF  07:00  1234567  7  EuroHarmony
EHM-9014  ESSA  06:30  EDDF  08:00  1234567  7  EuroHarmony
EHM-9017  LGAV  06:30  EDDF  08:45  1234567  7  EuroHarmony

Copied from the site's Timetable.
EHAM-EDDF is about 1hr maybe 1:20 max!
Same for LSZH-EDDF

--- EDIT ---
The return Legs:

EHM-9020  EDDF  20:30  EGLL  21:45  1234567  7  EuroHarmony

Sorry Daniel,

At this time, it is main division only. We may get round to adding more when time allows but it is a complex process and at the moment our flight Data Base needs attention in more pressing areas.....

Just as a bit of background, we had many discussions about the short flights for class 6 & 7 aircraft and there was a divided response with some people thinking we should remain realistic offering 777 & 747 flights etc only on long haul as they are in the real world but in the end a small concessions was made on the main division to help with this.... Now if you are not flying ProPilot there is a rule that allows you to fly with 4x compression whilst not online so you can still fly these planes albeit with time compression, for now this will serve as your only solution I'm afraid.

Regards,
Phil

Hello Phil
I appreciate that peoples time is limited and it probably takes a Lot of time to add and change flights etc,but i also fly for another VA which uses real world schedules for there aircraft and there are lots of real world flights for 747s 777s etc of mid range ie fifteen hundred miles  and less.
As to using the 4x acceleration i am one of the strange fellows who has to do all flights in real time.(Even though it has on one occasion resulted in me falling asleep and pouring beer all over myself ;D).
Lets hope that in the future there will time to add some of these mid rangers.
All the best
Andy
